Blackberry Vanilla Bean Ice Cream Soda

This Blackberry Vanilla Bean Ice Cream Soda is super refreshing and easy to make! A fruity beverage that comes together with only five ingredients.

Blackberry Vanilla Bean Ice Cream Soda

One of my favorite summer memories when I was little was going to A&W Restaurant with my dad to get a big ole’ Root Beer Float! There is nothing like a couple of scoops of ice cream in a cup of Root Beer. I can remember sitting on the back of my dad’s truck just slurping away on my Ice Cream Soda thinking it was the best day ever!

Did you know that this awesome summer time treat actually has its own day? That’s right, someone decided that today, June 20th, is National Ice Cream Soda Day. What better way to celebrate Ice Cream Soda Day than to join together with some fellow bloggy’s and throw an Ice Cream Soda Party! Because, let’s be honest who doesn’t like a good Ice Cream Soda? Well, you are in for a treat {no pun intended}. My friend Gina over at Kleinworth & Co is hosting an Ice Cream Soda Recipe Roundup and yours truly {that would be me} is participating with a Blackberry Vanilla Bean {fro-yo} Ice Cream Soda! Here are the other treats! {links below}

    1. Thanks Julie, the Greek yogurt definitely gives it more of a tangy taste, but it is perfect with the sparkling blackberry.

    Krista, I am in love with round-up and yours sounds delish! I was kind of addicted to ice cream sodas growing up and honestly, I sort of still am! Love all of these great ideas and I think I’ll get started on sampling some….hmm…now! 🙂 Pinning!

    1. Thanks Cindy, I gotta give Gina from Kleinworth & Co all the credit. She put the whole thing together. I checked all the recipes out yesterday and they all look and sound great.

    This is SO my kind of treat! I love ice cream and soda together…and this frozen yogurt looks absolutely delish! Hope you have fun celebrating your hunny’s bday!

    1. It was super yummy, especially with the sparkling blackberry juice. 🙂 We had a blast on his birthday, went to a steakhouse! The only thing that could have made his bday better is if the spurs would have won the NBA finals last night. 🙁

  5. I love Izze! They have such awesome flavors–I almost used them for my ice cream soda recipe. 🙂 This sounds delicious!

    1. They are awesome and you don’t end up feeling like you just had sugar overload like after a coke. 🙂

  6. Love your fro-yo recipe- a lot healthier than what I have been doing. Time to change it up for sure.

    Thanks for joining me on this- it’s been great to be able to work with your more!
