Warning!
You are about to experience cuteness overload. I’m sorry, I tried to resist, but as soon as my little guy got in front of the camera it’s like the camera magically starting taking pictures and I couldn’t stop!
To be honest, looking at some of these pictures makes me a little sad.
My little kitchen helper, the one who has been in the kitchen with me for the past 5 years is going off to school. I’ll be making recipes at home now without him. No more of him pulling up his stool to the counter and saying “mommy can I help you?”
So taking these pictures of him having fun making breakfast in the kitchen … loading his food with bacon and throwing cheese up in the air makes me laugh.
This kid loves to experiment in the kitchen or just be near his momma. (big puffy heart)
Ok, sappy part over!
As Cason heads off to school this year, I’m looking for recipes that will be quick to make in the morning but also fill him up for the day and give him the nutrition he needs. This Bacon Egg White Breakfast Pizza totally fits the bill and is down right delicious. Cuz… I mean really .. BACON … hello!!
What I love about this recipe is how easy it is to make, to the point where literally even your kids can make it! No stove needed! Just a microwave!
The egg mixture is loaded with bacon and spinach, one for flavor and one for nutrition, guaranteeing your kiddos will eat it. Then it’s topped with shredded cheese for an extra boost of calcium!
The AllWhites 100% liquid egg whites I used are not only super convenient (ahem.., no cracked shells on your counter), but they are fat-free, cholesterol-free and a low-calorie source of lean protein – ideal for providing you or your kids the energy they need for the day.
Each serving of AllWhites contains 5 grams of protein, 0 grams of fat and only 25 calories. They are pasteurized for safety and are actually safer than traditional whole eggs.
All you do is throw everything into a large ramekin (5oz or 6 oz) put it in the microwave for 2 minutes and the egg part is done. Flip it over on a pita bread or naan flatbread, top it with cheese. Melt the cheese and voila! Delicious protein packed Bacon Egg White Breakfast Pizza!
This breakfast pizza will definitely be a contender for those quick school morning breakfasts … and probably on the weekends as well. It is super versatile, so you could add whatever fillings you’d like. Just make sure you MAKE it!
Bon Appetit friends! Happy Pizza making!
And guess what… as a bonus since you made it this far in the post you have the pleasure of entering in a fun giveaway to get your kids in the kitchen with you! Enter to a win a 27 piece Kids Cooking Foundations Set!
