My Go-To Recipe:

This cocktail is made with homemade cranberry simple syrup, lemon juice, whiskey, and egg whites for that epic foam on top. It’s the perfect tangy-sweet cocktail for the holidays!

The Ingredients

Remember there are two components you’ll need to make for this cocktail, the simple syrup and then the cocktail itself.

1. Make Simple Syrup

To a small saucepan, add water, sugar, fresh cranberries, cinnamon, star anise, and orange zest. Give it a quick stir.

2. Bring to a Slow Boil

Bring mixture to a slow boil over medium heat for 3 minutes, stirring throughout. Do not let the cranberries burst, as this releases pectin and will make your sauce more gelatinous.

3. Strain

Pour mixture through a strainer into a glass jar and refrigerator for 5-10 minutes.

4. Add to Shaker

To a cocktail shaker, add ice, whiskey, lemon juice, spiced cranberry syrup, cranberry juice, orange bitters and egg white.coffee beans.

5. Shake, Pour & Garnish 

Secure the top & shake vigorously until the shaker is frosty on the outside. Pour through a cocktail strainer into a coupe glass. Top with fresh cranberries, rosemary sprig, and a orange slice.
