Homemade Strawberry Basil Frozen Yogurt
Today is a special post. For one, you get an awesome frozen yogurt recipe and two we are celebrating a sweet friend of mine!
Samantha from Five Heart Home is one of the first blog friends I met! We started our blogs around the same time so instantly we clicked we were both wandering in the blogging wilderness. One of the first things I noticed about her blog was that each Friday she would do a fun Friday feature where she would feature one blogger that caught her eye and make that post all about them.
As I got to know her more I realized that is her personality! She is selfless and places others above herself which is exactly what she does as a wife and mother of three gorgeous kiddos! Totally love and respect this girl and all her hard work.
Or … the simple version is – She liked food, I liked food and the rest was history! Today she is celebrating blogging for 2 years and is throwing a little “online party,”which is what we in the blogging world do because we don’t all live in the same area.
The good thing about our online parties is you reap the benefits! Today a group of us are giving away $400 Amazon e-card! So be sure to check out the rafflecopter at the end of todays post to register for a chance to win. It opens at 6am today and ends June 10th at 11:59pm. Hope one of you wins! 🙂

Love this combo of basil and strawberry! Two of my favorite summer flavors. I can’t believe you can make this without an ice cream maker!? I’ve packed mine away as we move into a new house but have been craving ice cream like crazy lately. Going to try the blender method!

Yes they have! Almost too much to handle right now!
So jealous you have a vitamix, I would love to have one! Thanks for the pin Erin!
What a simple and lovely summer dessert. The pairing of strawberry and basil always works for me – like strawberries and balsamic, an out-of-the-ordinary combination that tickles my tastebuds.
I love strawberries and balsamic, but I agree strawberries and basil are such a fresh and light pairing especially in this frozen yogurt. Delish!
