- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
- 1/4 cup tamari sauce
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, for garnish
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- To a large bowl add sesame oil, tamari sauce, rice wine vinegar, garlic and ginger. Whisk to combine.
- Add cubed salmon to the bowl. Toss to coat the salmon with the sauce and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- Remove the salmon from the sauce and reserve the leftover sauce.
- Add salmon cubes to the air fryer in a single layer (do two batches if necessary) and cook for 8-10 minutes. Remove and let rest.
- In the meantime, add leftover sauce to a small saucepan. Make a cornstarch slurry with the water and cornstarch and slowly pour the slurry into the sauce stirring the whole time. Simmer until the sauce is thickened.
- Glaze salmon with the remaining sauce and garnish with sesame seeds and green onion.
