Four Cheese Ravioli with Homemade Marinara Sauce
Ok, so before you start to get really impressed.. stop…. I did not make these ravioli.
I mean… I’m talented and all but not that talented .. or at least not yet!
Last week I was prepping to leave for vacation. Normally that means I make easy meals that won’t leave alot of leftovers, so we don’t have a full frig when we leave.
This Four Cheese Ravioli was the answer to my problem!
Its easy to make! All you have to do is buy the package and throw it in the water. Yeah, doesn’t get much simpler than that.
Then as a way to make it more “homemade” I made my own fresh marinara sauce.
Why I Love This Easy Dinner Recipe
Homemade marinara sauce blows the socks off of the store bought stuff, there is so much more flavor to it AND you know exactly what’s in it! Which is a major bonus!
I don’t know if you guys have noticed but I’m pretty obsessed with the flavor of fire roasted tomatoes. Whenever I’m making a sauce or a soup that calls for a can of tomatoes my tomato of choice is fire roasted tomatoes. It has a slight hint of smokiness to it that is just so stinking yummy! I can’t get enough of it!
So when I was shopping for the marinara sauce recipe this can of fire roasted tomatoes just fell into my cart. I don’t know what happened!
Anywho, this hearty meal took literally 15 minutes to make! Which makes momma happy!
Major time saver here folks!
And down right tasty, your family will be raving about this dish!

Hey Krista – looks great! Any idea of the nutrition facts/macros for this meal? Or would you use general nutrition facts for 1/4 cup of ravioli per serving?
Thanks!
Hey Jordan I just updated the nutritional facts.
That sauce looks super easy to make! I’ve been trying to find a staple marinara sauce recipe for a while and use crushed tomatoes all the time to make bolognese sauce
Hurray! You’ll love it Taylor! It’s one of my favorites and its crazy easy to make!
Instead of diced tomatoes could I use tomatoe purée?
You make ravioli irresistible! So pretty.
Pinned.
Enjoy the first fabulous fall weekend!

Thanks so much Teresa, you will love it. Full of flavor and so easy!
Now that’s a legit homemade marinara. In my opinion, homemade marinara is almost as fast and tastes immeasurably better than even the best supermarket sauce. Especially when you use San Marzano, like you did!
🙂
Right! San Marzano tomatoes rock, can’t beat that taste! 🙂
That looks positively delightful! I know what I want for dinner!
haha.. thanks Gina! 🙂
