Description
Fresh shrimp spiced up with lemon zest, white wine, garlic, and red pepper flakes and grilled to perfection!
Ingredients

- 1/4 cup of white cooking wine
- 1/2 cup of olive oil
- 1 T. dry basil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- salt & pepper
- 1 tsp. lemon zest
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 2 lb. of large shrimp, deveined & shell off {probably 31-40 shrimp}
Instructions
- Rinse 2 lbs. of raw shrimp {be sure it is deveined and shell is off} and place in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix together garlic, dry basil, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Next add white cooking wine and slowly add olive oil whisking to emulsify.
- Pour marinade over shrimp and mix to make sure all shrimp are coated.
- Let sit for 20 minutes to let marinade soak in.
- Heat grill to medium high heat. Place shrimp in grill basket {or on skewers}.
- Grill until shrimp are pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- Serve with fresh lemons.
