With juicy steak, whipped goat cheese, peppery arugula, and a nice mix of veggies, this homemade steak pizza is full of big flavors!

- Homemade Pizza Dough
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/4 cup roasted red pepper, julienned
- 5 oz. filet mignon, cooked then thinly sliced
- 1/2 sweet onion, sliced
- 3 mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup fresh arugula
- optional: Balsamic Reduction for drizzle, grated parmesan or red pepper flakes
Whipped Goat Cheese:Â
- 4 oz. goat cheese
- 4 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
Instructions
- Make your own pizza dough. {recipe here}
- Preheat oven to 500ºF. Place a pizza stone or baking sheet in oven while preheating.
- Make Whipped Goat Cheese: Add goat cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder and thyme to small food processor. Blend until smooth.
- Heat a large skillet to medium high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil along with mushrooms and onions. Saute until slightly browned, approximately 4-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet to medium high heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the pan along with the steak. Sear for 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from heat and let rest.
- Add a large piece of parchment paper to countertop. Sprinkle with flour. Spread out pizza dough to a large disc and your desired thickness.
- Drizzle the dough with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add whipped goat cheese to dough in dollaps and gently spread. Next, add onions, mushrooms and roasted red pepper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from oven. Slice filet mignon into thin strips and place on top of pizza along with fresh arugula.
- Optional: Drizzle with balsamic reduction, grated parmesan, and red pepper flakes.
- Cut and serve!
