Jazz up your Carrots during the holidays with these RAINBOW MAPLE DIJON GLAZED CARROTS. Sprinkle them with some fresh herbs for an extra pop of flavor! These are a must for your dinner table this Thanksgiving!
This week has been a whirlwind with the election coverage. I cannot remember a more watched, talked about, or more polarizing vote before.
I think fear, anxiety, or worry has set in for a lot of americans if their candiate did not win. And honestly as a mom, that fear set in for me during this election season. I was glued to the tv most of Tuesday night. But then I had this moment of realizing.
God is still King of the World. He still sits on His throne. Nothing will change that. Not the election outcome. Nothing. My child is watched over and his destiny lies in the hands of the Lord Almighty, not in who fills the presidential seat.
I want Cason to have that same faith. To not allow the outcome of any circustance create fear and anxiety. This song came by Sidewalk Prophets came on the other day and I thought the words were exactly what I would want to convey to my son!
Be strong in the Lord and
never give up hope.
You’re gonna do great things
I already know
God’s got his hand on you so
don’t live life in fear
forgive and forget
but don’t forget why you’re here
Take your time and pray
These are the words I would say
I hope that brings you perspective and encouragement if you are in need of it!
If not, let’s just agree to stuff our faces with lots of good food! Mkay! 🙂
