This 5-minute peppermint espresso martini recipe with a dark chocolate rim and coffee beans will be a holiday go-to.
Ingredients

- 1 oz espresso
- 1 oz. Baileys Irish cream
- 1 oz. vodka
- .5 oz coffee liquor
- 1/2 tsp simple syrup
- 1–2 drops of peppermint oil
- 3–4 ice cubes
- optional: coffee beans for garnish
Chocolate Peppermint Rim:
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
Chocolate Peppermint Rim:
- Add crushed peppermint candies to a plate. Set aside.
- Add chocolate to a small bowl. Melt in the microwave in 30-second increments.Â
- Once melted, dunk the rim of a cocktail glass in the chocolate. Let any access chocolate drip into the bowl and add the chocolate-coated rim to the peppermint candies to coat.Â
- Place glasses upside down on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Place it in the refrigerator until the chocolate has hardened. (10 minutes or so)
Peppermint Espresso Martini:Â
- To a cocktail shaker add espresso, baileys, vodka, coffee liquor, simple syrup, peppermint oil and ice cubes.
- Cover securely and shake until the cocktail shaker is frosted.
- Strain into a coupe cocktail glass.
- Top with a few coffee beans.
- Serve immediately.
