Description
A basic easy, tangy vinaigrette that can be used to dress most salads.
Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar (good quality brand)
- 1 teaspoon dry thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Add dijon, honey, garlic, balsamic vinegar, thyme, salt and pepper to a bowl.
- Whisk until thoroughly combined,then slowly pour in the olive oil.
- Continue to whisk until the dressing thickens and emulsifies. (you will know it is done when it sticks to the back of a spoon and the vinegar and olive no longer separate)
- Store in airtight container.
